A lifelong equestrian, accomplished horsewoman, and vibrant leader in the hunter/jumper community, Kim Zindel Buzby is the force behind Windfall Farm. With over 25 years of experience in the show ring and in the barn, Kim has built one of Chester County’s premier training programs—one rooted in excellence, joy, and a deep love for both horses and people.

Kim’s competitive résumé spans the nation’s top venues, including Devon, Washington International, the National Horse Show, and Capital Challenge. As a junior rider, she earned accolades across the hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions, and trained under some of the most respected professionals in the industry. That experience laid the groundwork for her signature training approach: blending classical horsemanship with modern-day precision, and always prioritizing the unique needs of both horse and rider.

As a professional, Kim has coached students to success at every level—from local circuits to the biggest national finals. Her riders have qualified for and placed in the USEF Medal and Maclay, WIHS, and USET Talent Search Finals, and her eye for matching riders with the right mounts has led to countless successful partnerships. She has also developed and sold top-tier horses now competing in prestigious programs across the country.

But what truly sets Kim apart is the energy she brings to her work. Equal parts fierce competitor and fun-loving mentor, Kim is known for her laugh in the barn aisle, her unwavering support at the in-gate, and her ability to build confidence in even the most nervous rider. She’s created more than just a training program—she’s built a team, a community, and a second home for riders of all ages and levels.

Windfall Farm reflects Kim’s philosophy: work hard, ride well, and never forget to enjoy the journey. With her at the helm, the program continues to thrive as a place where horses are happy, riders are challenged, and lifelong friendships are forged.
